MANILA, Philippines — Ibang level na ang Choco Mucho na tunay na halimaw na sa Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.
Ito ang pananaw ni Creamline team captain Alyssa Valdez matapos lumasap ang kanyang tropa ng 25-13, 25-19, 21-25, 20-25, 16-18 kabiguan sa Flying Titans sa opening day ng semis.
“More than the skills, I think after that finals appearance against us last conference, we’ve seen and we’ve felt also in today’s game their immense heart and composure,” ani Valdez.
Naniniwala si Valdez na malaki na ang pinagbago ng Titans lalo pa’t nang mahawakan ito ni veteran mentor Dante Alinsunurin.
“I guess overall, they’ve been improving mentally, physically, and as a team. So it’s gonna be a tougher and stronger Choco Mucho for sure,” ani Valdez.
Ito ang ang parehong sinabi ni outside hitter Jema Galanza.
Unang beses na natalo ang Creamline sa Choco Mucho sapul noong 2019.
Kaya naman saludo ito sa buong team na nagsikap para makuha ang panalo.
“Making the Finals last year is huge for them as it boosts their morale. Maddie Madayag said that they’re a different team now and they really are. As their sister team, I’m happy for them since we’re both elevating and playing better,” dagdag ni Galanza, tumapos ng 23 puntos sa naturang laro.
